Summer ignores him. Clearly freaked out. Troubled.

SUMMER: Omigod, Coop. You're not gonna believe this. Have you heard about Luke's dad?

INT. HARBOR SCHOOL - HALLWAYS - DAY (D2)

Ryan gets out of class. Walking down the hall. Suddenly Seth approaches. Not in a joking mood.

SETH: Dude. I have some pretty crazy news.

RYAN: If it's about your woman problems --

SETH: It's not.

And then Seth stops. Seeing Luke at his locker. Quickly packing up his stuff. Kids pass. Whispering.

As two kids walk past Ryan and Seth --

KID #1: I heard his dad's favorite show is Dawson's Crack.

KID #2: I heard it was Ever-woody.

As the kids LAUGH -- Ryan realizes -- it's out there... He moves to Luke quickly.

A quick look between Sandy and Kirsten. This hitting them.

SANDY: You'd be surprised. But. Every secret comes out eventually.

KIRSTEN: (cool) Yup. Some marriages can handle the truth. And some can't.

Seth and Ryan share a look. Getting the vibe.

Sandy and Kirsten let it go at that. As everyone goes back to eating.

SETH: I'm sure everyone in the community will be so accepting. As we are such a liberal, tolerant bunch. (off Sandy's look) That was at the expense of Orange County. Not Luke's dad...

EXT. BEACH - SANTA'S LIFEGUARD TOWER - MORNING (D3)

The Newpsies continue to decorate. Giant CANDY CANES jammed in the sand. And they gossip. Julie and Kirsten are up on tower. Stringing LIGHTS.

LYNN: Did you see his body? What straight guy has a body like that?

TARYN: Not my husband.

LYNN: Charlie and I went to see The Lion King with the Wards? (all the proof she needs) And Frank cried. Wept.

ON JULIE and KIRSTEN -- look at each other. Disgusted.

LYNN: All these years I've known him? He's never once made a pass at me. (beat) I feel so much better.
