Misc Spoilers:

  • Look for the original crew (Seth, Summer, Ryan and Marissa) to start spending some quality time together, which definitely digs up drama in some of their new relationships--and could ruin them in the long run. Also, Ryan's brother Trey is going to play a big part in the coming months. Ryan's O.C. friends and family open their arms to Trey, while Ryan won't be all that into it. Trey stirs up some trouble that Sandy has to help him with. Some sources are saying that he gets busted for drug possession, possibly at a party Marissa throws for him. Lindsay is not gone forever. Source: Kristin on E!Online
  • Marissa will not be doing her same-sex relationship much longer ... and I hear that could lead the way for a Ryan/Marissa reunion. Source: Kristin on E!Online
  • Seth and Summer lock lips in the next few weeks, but not before Seth endures some serious pain. Also, supposedly Marissa's little sis is getting a spinoff. Kaitlin Cooper, who conveniently disappeared at some point last season, is coming back to Newport in the not-so-distant future with hopes of launching her own series depicting the struggles of boarding school. With any luck, she'll take big sis with her! Julie Cooper's got some serious secrets to spoil. Let's just say that a lad named Lance drops by Newport, threatening to spill something that the new Mrs. Nichol doesn't need publicized. Johnny Messner, the actor playing Lance, told me at Fox's White Hot Winter party that, "Julie's got skeletons of the Paris Hilton sex tape sort." Also, Ryan isn't the only Atwood in The O.C. this season. Look for the return of his bro, whom we haven't seen since early season one, before spring.
  • [Marissa and Alex's relationship will] not last forever and she'll end up spending time helping Ryan with some of his "family" issues. (GRRRRRRR ... Sic, Lindsay, sic!) Ryan's brother, Trey, will get out of jail soon and try to camp with the Cohens.
  • It's understood Kaitlin Cooper will reappear on "The O.C." later this season or early next season, after which a spin-off will track her exploits at boarding school. It's not clear however if actress Shailene Woodley will reprise her role or if it will be recast for the spin-off, which is being likened to a small screen version of "Mean Girls."
  • Marissa will try out 'the other side' and becomes close with a girl as she tries and explores different relationships, rumour has it that it is Alex (and Seth is a bit upset about it)
  • For spring break, the gang will visit Nana (Linda Lavin) at her retirement community in Florida. "Insanity will ensue for the kids," Schwartz says
  • For those who haven't heard, the rumor mill has been working overtime with reports that Jimmy Cooper (Tate Donovan) is leaving Newport... and my buddies at Zap2it.com went to zee oh see man himself, Josh Schwartz. He simply says, "If you look at the track record, anyone who's fallen for Julie Cooper has not done well. I guess I'm talking about Luke (Chris Carmack), really. She's sorta the black widow of the show." Doesn't sound good, does it? Still, that said, my sources tell me Jimmy is STILL under contract and not going away. DJ is leaving, which will leave Marissa free to lock lips with Alex (Olivia Wilde). In other spoiler-ish news, Julie is going to get blackmailed by a man from her past but not before she jumps into a new business venture with Kirsten: A magazine for Newport! Meanwhile, Kirsten fields flirtation from one of the magazine's advisers. Also, was kidding about the man thing. My guess is some kind of jail time.

Episode 2.15 "The Mallsipode": Airing March 10 2005

RYAN, MARISSA, SETH AND SUMMER HANG OUT IN THE MALL
Lindsay's actions have left Ryan and Caleb confused. Marissa is trying hard to make her new living situation work, but she needs a break and agrees to join Summer, Seth and Ryan at the mall. Julie and Kirsten await the arrival of Carter, the new editor of Newport Living, but Julie is distracted when she's visited by Lance, an opportunistic man from her past. Meanwhile, Sandy and Caleb finally bond over all of their recent experiences.

Billy Campbell will guest-star on THE O.C. in a multi-episode arc beginning Thursday, March 3. Campbell's character, Carter, will arrive in Newport Beach to work with Kirsten (Kelly Rowan) on a new business venture. Johnny Messner will guest-star as Lance, an opportunist blast from Julie Cooper's (Melinda Clarke) past. His story arc also begins March 3.

OLD RELATIONSHIPS ARE REVISITED WHEN KIM DELANEY GUEST-STARS

Sandy decides to help an old friend find his daughter, but the search leads to even more questions. While Julie is away, Marissa's contempt for Caleb grows as she looks for new ways to rebel. Meanwhile, Ryan tries to help Lindsay satisfy her curiosity about Caleb on “The Accomplice” episode of THE O.C.

Ryan's attempt to reunite Lindsay and Caleb backfires; Marissa finds a partner-in-crime in Alex (Olivia Wilde); Seth's comic doodlings open Summer's eyes to his not-so-funny feelings for her; and an old friend from Sandy's past resurfaces with a favor that could rock the Cohen marriage.

Marissa and Summer try and include Lindsay when they are planning a big girl's night out

The return of Alex's ex gives Seth an insight into the sort of woman he's sort of dating, as Ryan gives Marissa hell for letting Lindsay booze her way through a girls night out. Meanwhile, Sandy's idea to salvage the Newport Group's image hits a dead end with Julie's face plastered all over it.

Ryan's chemistry with a classmate (Shannon Lucio) opens Marissa's eyes, while Seth's experiment with being Summer's "friend" succeeds only in getting him a job. On the grown-up front, Caleb's arrest leads to a shakeup at the Newport Group that could leave Kirsten at Julie's mercy. The Walkmen perform

      SEASON 1 PAST SPOILERS

      Misc Spoilers:

Keith asks "On The O.C., do you know wether or not Theresa will be staying permanantely as a regular cast member?"
If Theresa becomes a regular, we should know it in the Upfront Events that will be held in mid-May but it's unlikely has she shot two pilots for the Fall season (she already dropped out of one project). SpoilerFix.com will have a special brief to update you on the news of shows we follow (fully-covered or from the brief).

Ann asks " Rumors are flying that a major character leaves The O.C. - any idea who it will be?" If you read Kristin's colum at E!Online, you'll see that the leaving of another character has been confirmed by the cast. The name of said cast member leaving hasn't been confirmed and by major, I expect it means "regulars".

Gaby asks "On The O.C., is it true that someone's going to get pregnant?" I've heard the rumor too but I have no confirmation. My belief is that Julie will be pregnant with Luke's but she'll claim it's Caleb's... which could explain why he proposes to her in an upcoming episode. But that's pure speculation on my part. I've also heard rumors of Summer or Kirsten being pregnant.

About the Pregnancy Rumour: another speculation (based on show slides) is that Theresa is pregnant and Ryan is the father. However with the amount of 'foilers' floating around near the end of the season, this could be way off.

Another possible 'foiler' is that There is a fire at the Cohens, Caleb is the one who dies, and the Cohens must move. However, since the person who dies is characterized as someone we 'know and love' I dont see it being Caleb.

"The Shower": Airing April 21st, 2004

Seth and Summer have dinner with Neil Roberts, Summer's dad, at the Yacht Club. Seth explains what Chrismukkah is all about to Neil. Seth is very uncomfortable and seems to say things Neil doesn't like or thinks are frivolous. Seth also talks comic books... Summer almost wants to die as things go from bad to worse... Preparations for Caleb and Julie's shower (they're getting married) are going on at the Cohens. Kirsten gets help from Cindy, Marissa's aunt, who smokes and talks about putting on weight, sex problems, and Julie's Def Lepard phase! Marissa introduces Ryan as her boyfriend. Cindy and Julie haven't talked in a few years and is surprised Julie asked her here especially when the last time they've seen one another Julie told her to get lost! Something is a little off... Cindy wasn't welcomed here but it's Marissa who invited her. Trouble incoming! Haley and Jimmy are dating and are ready to tell Kirsten. Ryan pays Eddie a visit because he supposedly did something to Theresa. Ryan listens to Eddie's story which is filled with deception and heartaches. Sandy and Theresa arrive at Eddie's to get Ryan as he's in a lot of trouble... The shower takes place at the yatch club. Cindy, thinking the shower is a snoozefest, begins to ask questions about her sister JuJu to the people in attendance... but the questions lack a bit of taste. Julie has enough and leaves making sure to tell Marissa that she had a "fantastic" idea to invite Cindy.

Marissa (Mischa Barton) plots to ruin her mother's happiness by inviting someone from her mother's past to the wedding shower, while Sandy (Peter Gallagher) attempts to hide Theresa's (Navi Rawat) return to the O.C. from Ryan (Ben McKenzie). When Ryan discovers Sandy's lies and Theresa's reasons for coming back, he puts himself in a dangerous situation. In the meantime, Seth's (Adam Brody) unimpressive first meeting with Summer's (Rachel Bilson) father leaves their relationship in doubt.

    • We are introduced to Neil Robers, Summers father, a plastic surgeon
    • Summer's dad's meeting with Seth doesn't go well and he doesn't approve of them together
    • We are also introduced to Aunt Cindy (sassy, attractive, 30's)
    • Jimmy and Hailey reveal their relationship to their families
    • Ryan and Eddie (Theresa's fiance) have a fight about Eddie and Theresa (possibly Eddie hitting Theresa?)

"The Strip": Airing May 5th, 2004

Sandy and the boys are planning to go to Las Vegas to "crash" Caleb's bachelor party in Las Vegas. Sandy and Jimmy sold the restaurant to Caleb. They meet with Jimmy's realtor who tells them that Caleb must have sold it to Robert Campbell because that's what she's heard and it seems it's going to become a mall. Seth, Ryan, Sandy, Jimmy, and Caleb arrive in Vegas... Seth made the hotel reservation at the Hard Rock... not Ceasar's (as Caleb wanted... but the Hard Rock Hotel has a Springteen exhibit!!!) They stay in the penthouse in which there is a bowling alley. Summer, who stayed in OC while the guys went away, calls Seth on his cell... but what she hears through the phone isn't what she expected: the voice of a lady saying Seth is a good kisser. Marissa tells her that Theresa is coming over for a girls' night and they can do whatever Summer wants to. What she wants? Go to Las Vegas and kicks Seth's ass. The girl who kissed Seth is a 20-year-old university student named Jenn. She invites the guys to come to a poker game. Ryan will lose over three thousand. At the Hard Rock Hotel, Summer asks Ryan where Seth is. They find him in the penthouse with a girl named Jenn (a 20-year-old Ryan and Seth met on the beach). Summer is pissed off and tells Jenn to move away from her man! Three of Jenn's lady friends arrive at the Penthouse... what will happen when they are asked to pay for Jenn's and the ladies' services? huh? Seth wants to know how Summer feels about him because it's clear her dad still doesn't like him. Jimmy is worried that Marissa may move in with Julie and Caleb. Kirsten organises a party for Julie. Hailey drops by as well as impossible hot "firemen".

    • This episode title is in reference to the Las Vegas Strip where the Cohen's, and Caleb visit
    • I dont think Summer and Seth are together at this point, I believe they recently broke up because Summer's father doesn't approve of Seth

    • Summer goes to Vegas to see Seth
    • Marissa, Summer and Theresa are friends at this point

    • Kirstin has a party for Julie, who forgets to invite Hailey but she comes anyways
    • The Stripper at the party hits on Julie who was about to leave with him, but Hailey began to hit on him after

Accompanied by Beastie Boys' new track, the boys from THE O.C. travel to Las Vegas for an impromptu bachelor party, where Ryan and Seth find themselves in a compromising situation and Jimmy (Tate Donovan) and Sandy learn that Caleb (Alan Dale) had less than altruistic motives when he purchased the restaurant from them. Meanwhile, back in Newport, Marissa learns Theresa's secret and Kirsten (Kelly Rowan) throws Julie (Melinda Clarke) a "sizzling" bachelorette party where enemies Julie and Hailey (Amanda Righetti) end up in the Cohen pool.

Caleb uses the occasion to surprise everyone when he proposes to Julie.

Seth and Summer talk about room design. Summer comments on the fact that Seth doesn't like Home Depot, cries during chick flicks... what next... walking in on Ryan changing? That comment makes Seth like Home Depot and want to go there ASAP. Sandy is at the Balboa Lighthouse helping set it for the grand opening. Peter Johnson, from the Liquor Board, drops by. Sandy inquires why the restaurant's liquor liscence has been re-neged. Sandy says he can't open the restaurant if he can't serve liquor because New Port residents are borderline alcoholics and that is where profit is made. They did indeed provide all the required paperwork but the newly appointed commissioner, a man named Steve Peiser, was one of the men Jimmy was giving financial advice to and stole a quarter of a million from... Johnson suggests that Jimmy steps down because no fellon will get a liquor liscence. Marissa and Ryan seems to be back together.

Apparently some of the kids at school don't know Seth and Summer are dating. Guys are still hitting on Summer, Seth is jealous. Seth won't stand up for himself. Anna is still around. He asks her for advice and tells Seth he's being a coward. This is the MAJOR turning point for S/S. (it's sweeps, what do you expect?) More drama with Sandy and Caleb. Caleb's doing something shady and Sandy's onto it. Apparently the other girl Marissa was referring to in The Heartbreak is Theresa (Ryan's ex who we saw in...whatever episode that was). She and Ryan are hanging out again. Are Marissa and Ryan still together? There's awkwardness between them.

Seth and Summer had sex. She says that love hurts as she rubs her sore leg. Marissa tells Summer that she doesn't know what is going between "us" (us surely referring to her and Ryan). Jimmy goes to a beach front apartment where a dread-locked glassy-eyed surfer chick in her mid-20s named Alexis opens the door and asks if he's a cop. He's actually looking for Hailey who now leaves there. He tracked down Hailey so he gets her cookies' recipe for his new restaurant and so she becomes the first guinea pig of dishes he wants to offer.

Summer and Marissa are talking. Marissa says she doesn't know what's going on between her and Ryan. She says "this girl is gonna be there." Marissa notices that Summer is limping. Summer says Seth kneed her. Marissa ask if her and Seth had sex again. Summer responds and says "if you can call it that."

"The Truth: Airing February 11, 2004

      OLIVER IS EXPOSED
At the office, Caleb once again leaves Kirsten holding the bag when he forces her to get rid of Julie. Sandy and Kirsten have reached the breaking point with Ryan, as they question their choice to bring him into their home. Meanwhile, Ryan and Luke become allies in the quest to bring Oliver down and protect Marissa. When Marissa discovers the truth about Oliver for herself, a tense showdown ensues as Sandy and Ryan come to the rescue.

Julie hired workmen to do work in Kirsten's office (it isn't clear, but from what is said, I believe it's her office). Seth and Sandy talk about Ryan. Sandy seems to be helpless about getting Ryan to confide in him. Seth tells him to wait and that Ryan will eventually come to Sandy when he's ready. Marissa is staying with Oliver Trask in the penthouse of the Four Seasons Hotel. The concierge of the hotel is named Natalie, the same one who used to babysit Oliver when he was young. Marissa discovers Natalie's last name, which makes Marissa's head spin a bit. Things get really ugly in the penthouse and Marissa will call Ryan so he comes pick her up. Ryan will go to the hotel with Sandy and be allowed to go to the penthouse after Ryan also recognizes Natalie. All three will go to the penthouse, where, from the corridor, everything looks okay... but Ryan doesn't believe what Oliver is saying. Still in the corridor, Ryan calls for Marissa... the truth will indeed come out in this episode and it won't be pretty!

    • Sandy confesses he's worried about what's going on with Ryan. Seth says "be your Sandy Cohen self. He'll come to you when he's ready."
    • Sandy & Kirsten have a convo about Ryan. Now it seems as if Kirsten is the one who's telling Sandy "things will work out".
    • Sandy & Kirsten arrive at Kirsten's office. Upon arrival, they find three workman there...one says that Kirsten is not supposed to be here. Julie is behind all of this. Julie hands Kirsten flowers and Kirsten asks what's going on...
    • Marissa and Oliver are staying in a penthouse suite at the Four Seasons. Marissa goes down to the front desk, asking if anyone left a bag for her. Marissa realizes she recognizes the concierges name (Natalie) for some reason. Concierge says she used to babysit Oliver. Marissa asks her her last name...and somehow Marissa recognizes it and it's not good...
    • Marissa, shaken up from seeing the concierge, goes back to Oliver's suite. Oliver is just getting out of the shower, wondering where Marissa was.
    • Luke shows up at Julie's place? Something to do with Marissa.
    • Back to the Four Seasons: Ryan and Sandy are there. Apparently they're calling the suite, nobody's answering. Sandy goes up to the front desk...identifies himself, says they got an emergency call from someone inside the penthouse 20 mins ago. Ryan recognizes the concierge/Natalie as well. She asks if he's a friend of Olivers, he nods and she leads them up to the penthouse...
    • Natalie knocks on the door and Oliver freaks out. Marissa is hopeful that someone's there to help her. Oliver says not to come in, he just got out of the shower...Marissa is pleading with him and he points the gun at her. Natalie/concierge says things are fine, Ryan and Sandy are discouraged. Ryan pleads with Natalie to open the door...Sandy says we're leaving.
