Well here you go. “No,” Ryan said as he paced the room in the model house. “No, You…you can’t stay here.” He ran his hands through his hair. Marissa laughed playfully but then she frowned. “Well,” she began. “Why not, I just thought we could spend the night together, we could talk cause I just wanted…” Ryan cut her off. “You cant stay here.” Ryan told her again. She looked at him ever more serious now. “Why.” She pressed on. “Cause…” he ran his hands through his hair. “Cause then I wont want to leave tomorrow.” He answered. “Then don’t, don’t leave stay here.” She said to him. He looked up and smirked. “And what do I do, you start school in the fall. What am I just supposed to hide out here like a ghost?” He said it calmly but he got his point across. “Just, just go. Please.” He said to her. She looked at him, and instead of leaving, she inched closer to him. His piercing blue eyes met hers and she ran her hands through his hair, linking their lips together so passionately. “Stop.” He said. “No, this isn’t right, we can’t do this.” He said. She kissed him again and embraced his big arms. “But this feels so right.” She said. “Being in your arms feels right.” She smiled and kissed him again. He laughed. “Yeah. And what about Luke?” Her eyes met his, and a tear fell from her eye. “Did you honestly think that I loved him more than I love you Ryan? You don’t understand it do you? I wanted to be with you not him. That’s why I said I just wanted to be with you tonight. God Ryan how can you be so selfish!?” He grabbed her arm softly, and pulled her into a tight passionate kiss…. “Go.” He said. “But? But what if I never see you again?!” She questioned. He shook his head and a tear rolled down his eye. “Please just go.” He asked of her. “But Ryan…I…I love you.” She confessed to him. “Just GO!” He yelled this time, tears streaming his eyes now. “Save me the pain…..” She began to cry hysterically, and covered her face as she ran down the steps and out of the model house. Tears filled Ryan’s eyes again as he looked out the window as she got in her car. “I love you too.” He thought for a second then yelled. “Marissa!” He ran out side to try and catch her car, but it was already gone. He walked back inside the house, and into the room he was sleeping in. He breathed heavily, and repeated his words from before. “I love you too Marissa…I love you too.” 2003 Virtual Rain.
