Watch tonight's VH1 Best Week Ever (11pm est). The panel will discuss "The OC Defies the Sophomore Slump" --- TVGuide.com WELCOME TO THE O.C. SPIN-OFF, BITCH: Although Josh Schwartz's college-set O.C. spin-off Athens has been scrapped, the Chrismukkah creator tells me he'd still "love to do something to expand The O.C. universe." What about, say, a show revolving around Marissa's MIA sister's Mean Girls-esque adventures at boarding school? "We were thinking it could be a fun idea," he says, all but confirming such rumors. "But nothing's been presented to the network." --- Entertainment Weekly 2/11/05 Lip Shtick --- Rockin' The OC

TONIGHT, Fox is making a big deal over a kiss between two women. Tune in. (tried to upload picture of kiss....not working)
SmallvilleCheck it out! Luke from The O.C. is like, a huge Metropolis U. football star now. And a meteor mutant with a paralyzing Vulcan Death Grip, but that's OK. At least he's not picking on Seth, right? Really, it's nice to see Chris Carmack getting work beyond his beefcakey Abercrombie ads. And on TV's other great teen drama, no less. Shame he can't stick around, since things are really heating up here. Lex just showed a totally glam Lana a picture that proves Genevieve had a hand in her and Jason's "chance meeting" in Paris. Chloe's dropping the cutest hints to Clark about knowing his secret, and Lois is sticking around, thanks to her new digs with the Kents. You know what that means for the teen of Steel. Yep, let the accidental bathroom run-ins and awkward sexual sparks begin!
It's February: Time for the all-purpose lesbian kiss!Marissa finally kisses bad-girl Alex tonight on "The O.C.," and to mark the occasion Virginia Heffernan ponders the significance of sweeps-month lesbian smooching: "Eminently visual; cheap, provided the actors are willing; controversial, year in and year out; and elegantly reversible (sweeps lesbians typically vanish or go straight when the week's over), kisses between women are perfect sweeps stunts. They offer something for everyone, from advocacy groups looking for role models to indignation-seeking conservatives, from goggle-eyed male viewers to progressive female ones, from tyrants who demand psychological complexity to plot buffs.""O.C.'s" Josh Schwartz: Lesbianism was "an organic evolution" for Marissa Timeline: lesbian kisses // No, I'm not watching "The L Word," says Schwartz
"O.C." comic book illustrator is the real Seth CohenEric Wight, who sketches Summer as a superhero, doesn't mind ghost-drawing for Adam Brody. "It's almost like a 'method drawing,' thinking, 'Well, how would he draw it?'" he says. "I think it's funny when people think that Adam's really drawing this stuff. I'm sure people will start coming up to him and start asking him to do sketches next to his autograph, and he'll be all pissed off."
