MEET THE BAD TV PARENTS Kirsten Cohen on "THE O.C." Problem: When Kirsten Cohen (Kelly Rowan) found out her father had an affair - giving her a teenage half-sister she never knew about - she had a temper tantrum and locked herself in a closet. Her husband, Sandy (Peter Gallagher (news)), tried to coax her out. In the end, it took persuasion from Ryan (Ben McKenzie) the troubled teen she's "adopted" - to get her to unlock the door. Diagnosis: "That's a huge responsibility for a kid to have to carry," says Lister, who treats both children and adults. "It's self-absorbed and totally immature behavior that could come from being inadequately taken care of when she was younger and never having given up the wish to be taken care of. Cure: Therapy might help to get at the unresolved things in her past. But she also needs to put the needs of the children ahead of her own."

I won't be on much lately 'cause of my vacations (drove through the OC but didn't get much chance to check it out, sorries!) so, here's just some sites to read all the news stories since I don't have the time to go all outs. In a classic soap opera move, a spin-off series next season will follow Kaitlin's adventures in boarding school. You know Emily is going to get very involved in breaking up Luke and Lorelai and bringing Christopher and Lorelai back together on "Gilmore Girls." Lorelai, Luke and Christopher will catch Rory and Logan in a compromising position and Luke and Christopher to have a big showdown. And even though Luke declared himself to be "all in," he will be the one to decide that he and Lorelai need a break. For those of you who have thought Lorelai was taking Luke for granted look for her to be the one trying to save the relationship. Poor Marty will tell Rory he likes her but we all know who Rory likes. If Kim Delaney is going to tempt Sandy on "The O.C.," Billy Campbell may catch Kirsten's attention. Oh, and when Delaney's Rebecca returns, Sandy will fail to mention this to Kirsten. Look for Seth to make a big play to win Summer back. What's on "O.C." creator Josh Schwartz's playlist?
