Ok, now here's the dates to set your VCRs, TiVos and any other fancy schmancy recording devices out there. Now, don't quote me on the exact dates, any new info will be posted immediately.
From The OC Show.com Episode 22 - "The L.A." March 24, 2004 Paris Hilton appears in this episode. It seems that the gang are on a trip in L.A. Ryan and Seth go to the Mermaid Inn to get a watch that was forgotten there. The manager says that she was a pretty lady the girl who stayed there... Ryan's girlfriend? Ryan salts in the wounds and says no. Later, Ryan, Marissa, and Seth go to a club. Hailey is there because she is working at the strip club. She inquires about what Seth and Ryan are doing in such a club. And Ryan says that if Kirsten knew what Hailey was doing for a living, she would surely take her back at the house. It seems that Hailey is also taking drugs. Ryan, Marissa, and Seth are thrown out of the club. Summer is also there with someone named Grady (Jen: I guess this would be the Colin Hanks character). Something doesn't go as planned, and Summer asks Seth to go back to Newport. Ryan and Marissa sneak back in the club to get Hailey. They get intro trouble and the manager and bouncer are about to hit Ryan when... Jimmy saves the day! Will they hit a kid in front of paparazzis? He tells the kids to head back and he'll give Hailey a lift. Not waiting for the kids to even be gone far enough, Hailey and Jimmy hug. Luke wants to have a chat with Julie, who seems embarrassed he came to the Cohen's to talk to her. Caleb appears in the episode.

Next new episode in 3 weeks is "The L.A." featuring Colin Hanks (as an actor...a stretch? I think not) & Paris Hilton (as a stripper...seems sorta natural, dontcha think?)
And, don't forget March 31st is the release date for Music from The O.C. Mix 1. Sign up through your favorite local record store or websites to reserve your copy!!
The O.C. A moment of silence, please, for Anna Stern. Pittsburgh's gain is our loss. Seriously, how come the writers couldn't come up with something better for our pixie than to send her home? She could have discovered Julie and Luke's secret and blackmailed the Dragon Lady into helping her break up Seth and Summer. We need a good teen villainess here, gang! Or she could have realized she was a lesbian. I hear they're still very popular. No matter, Anna's gone and we got a tearful goodbye, complete with a groovy cover of OMD's "If You Leave" that was just emo enough for poor Cohen. And speaking of poor folk, let's hope Theresa stays gone, too, and that Eric Balfour never shows his mug in Newport again. His agent's been working hard enough landing him gigs on Six Feet Under, Veritas and in that traumatizing remake of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The scruffy dude doesn't need to be picking fights at Orange County shindigs. We'd like to leave that to the locals, thank you very much. ____________________

From TVTome.com Forum
Regarding Season 2... dusty_becker—in production, it will be airing in august, season 1 ends in may, that will be two months without the o.c. not to bad (Jen: technically almost 3 months, but still not too bad)
Where is Oliver now? mikamikamika—a couple of weeks ago, my friend saw oliver (tayler handley) in my town at starbucks. She said he mentioned he was in a band. anyone know about his band?
I have found his band. It's called "Nobody's Looking" but that's all you can really find out. If any one can find any more information, please contact me (psychoitaliano@hotmail.com) and I will post for viewers' pleasure.
Blossom's older brother and a former Nancy Drew will topline the upcoming ABC Family original movie "The Rules of Engagement." Production is set to begin in March and, given speedy ABC Family turnaround times, it'll premiere in June. Joseph Lawrence ("Blossom," "Run of the House") and Maggie Lawson ("Nancy Drew," "It's All Relative") play a couple who become engaged after a year and a half of dating. They're planning a fun and off-beat wedding until her mother ("Taxi" and "Evening Shade" star Marilu Henner) throws a wrench in the works by telling them about the "rules of engagement" (whatever those are).
Soon their engagement is in shambles and their wedding is in jeopardy. Will they fall victim to the rules?
The telefilm will be shot in Toronto.
"The Rules of Engagement" was written by Alan Marc Levy and TV vet Steve Robman ("The O.C.," "Gilmore Girls") will direct with Joel Rice ("I Want to Marry Ryan Banks") executive producing. ____________________
Episode 1.23 - The Proposal: Seth and Summer talk about room design. Summer comments on the fact that Seth doesn't like Home Depot, cries during chick flicks... what next... walking in on Ryan changing? That comment makes Seth like Home Depot and want to go there ASAP. Sandy is at the Balboa Lighthouse helping set it for the grand opening. Peter Johnson, from the Liquor Board, drops by. Sandy inquires why the restaurant's liquor liscence has been re-neged. Sandy says he can't open the restaurant if he can't serve liquor because New Port residents are borderline alcoholics and that is where profit is made. They did indeed provide all the required paperwork but the newly appointed commissioner, a man named Steve Peiser, was one of the men Jimmy was giving financial advice to and stole a quarter of a million from... Johnson suggests that Jimmy steps down because no fellon will get a liquor liscence. Marissa and Ryan seems to be back together.
-Questions: Roxanne asks "In The O.C., will Ryan and Marissa ever be a couple again?" It seems that they are back together in episode "The Proposal". In this episode, Ryan is sitting on a couch in Jimmy's apartment and Marissa kisses him a few times before asking him if he prefers Mac & Cheese or... Mac & Cheese!
Roxanne asks "I was just wondering if you know who is going to get pregnant is it Mrs Cooper?" There are no answers yet. Rumours around the web say Julie or Summer will be pregnant. Most say it's Julie, which seems to be the most likely one since wouldn't it be outrageous that Julie was pregnant with Luke's child? lol --(Jen: my money is on Julie, I mean, she just started sleeping with Luke and just broke up with Caleb. Rumor/spoilers speak that Julie will soon have some power, so she can probably say that the unborn child is Caleb's...until all of Newport finds out about her and Luke, of course! Imagine, Marissa's new bro/sis having her ex-bf has the father, that's a soap opera's dreams!)
Roxanne asks "I wanted to know if you know who was going to get married? Is it Theresa and Eddy?" I haven't heard a thing about a wedding proposal in the coming episodes that not even a rumour. If you're referring to the fact an upcoming episode is titled "The Proposal", so far it sounds most like it's going to be a business proposal than a wedding proposal. Though that cannot be confirmed yet as we don't have enough info on the episode.
Various people asked if the following shows have been renewed for next season: 24, Alias, Smallville, One Tree Hill, The O.C., and Tru Calling. No official word on these shows renewals has been given. Networks will reveal their 2004-2005 schedule in the Upfront events in May... so they CAN wait until then to confirm a show will return or not.--(Jen: read the previous entry)

DVD NEWS & SEASON 2 NEWS!!!
TVTome.com Forum Official word is out that the first season of 'The O.C.' will be released by the end of this year, more than likely before the second season premieres this August on Fox.
Also, though there hasn't been any "official" word on the show being renewed, sources say that the second season of 'The O.C.' is already in production.
Now, back to DVD NEWS! TVShowsOnDVD.com Last October we brought to you the no-bones-about-it report that The O.C. was coming to DVD in 2004: Warner also indicated that two new hit series--the youth drama The O.C., which it produces for the Fox network, and prime-time soap Nip/Tuck, which it produces for cable's FX--will soon come to DVD as well. No (release) dates were offered.
Since Nip/Tuck news was posted by us last Thursday, we naturally called Warner Home Video on Friday and asked "What's going on with The O.C.?"
We were told that they are working on it, and that it'll be out before the end of the year. No other release information was given to us by Warner, but it's probably a safe bet to expect that it arrives before the 2nd season starts airing...it's a natural tie-in.
But wait! There's more! Thanks to readers like Paul Hillsdon and Peter Edfelt who wrote in, we can pass on to you that a company called Neuron Syndicate has let the cat out of the bag for even more information than that!
Neuron is getting a lot of attention this weekend, because they are the ones who designed the box covers for The Alien Quadrilogy, and have now been rumored to be designing the boxes for the forthcoming Star Wars Trilogy DVDs that were announced in early February.
But they've also been commissioned to design the covers for The O.C. - Season 1 box set! So, if their servers aren't overloaded with Star Wars fans trying to find a hint of info about their release (some images of possible SW designs were posted the other day, but were taken down very quickly), you can go to Neuron's official site and read the news about The O.C. for yourself. The site is Macromedia Flash-based, so there's no way to jump directly to the desired page. But if you click on "enter site", and then on "News" at the right end of the menu below the main graphic, you'll see The O.C. nestled in the middle of the news list.
In case you don't have excellent vision, here's the text of that graphic:
In the following weeks Neuron Syndicate will commence designing "The OC" Season One DVD release for Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. With season two already in production, solid viewer ratings, and the beginning of a cult-like following, the studio will include all 27 episodes in one six disc collection. The drama series, which debuted August 2003, premiered to 7.5 million viewers. OC has shown tremendous growth has earned the credit "addictive" from TV Guide's Matt Roush.
So this looks like a 6-DVD set with 27 first-season episodes on it (7 of which haven't even aired yet!), probably hitting around the late summer/early fall timeframe. Sounds like a plan to us! Stay tuned, because we'll have more for you about the first DVD release of this hot prime-time soap opera, just as soon as Warner releases the details. ____________________
-Are we sure the pregnant spoiler is still current? I heard the actress that plays Anna is pregnant in real life...so that was going to be a story arc if she completed her contract this season...but she decided to wait and come back for a few episodes after she has the baby
-the proposal is were sandy and jimmy apply for a liquor license for the restaurant and one of the people that vote for it is a guy that jimmy ripped off at the beginning of the show.
