Upcoming airdates for episodes:
11/26 - "The Secret"
12/03 - "Best Chrismukkah Ever"*
12/10 - No Episode
12/17 - "The Countdown"
12/24 - No Episode

I had never heard of this term before learning that it's the episode's title, now I've seen it a few places. It's almost like Seinfeld's "Festivus".

"Six Degrees of The OC" featuring Peter Gallagher and Tate Donovan

My answer to the shortest amount of degrees to connect the two is (2): Peter Gallagher was in "While You Were Sleeping" which starred Sandra Bullock. Sandra Bullock was the female star of "Love Potion #9" who's male lead was none other than Tate Donovan!

Now, only one person was able to answer it correctly using (2) degress but with a different connector (that's because only one person emailed me). RAPTOR FAN has this answer: Peter Gallagher was in a 1988 tv movie called "I'll Be Home for Christmas" with Courtney Cox with whom Tate Donovan worked with as his stint as Joshua on "Friends". Good work RAPTOR FAN!

Let's continue my fascination with connecting OC actors, especially Tate Donovan. Connect Micha Bartin to Tate Donovan. For this one, I have another (2) degrees between them. Answer will be posted on Tuesday. Email your answers to psychoitaliano@hotmail.com with "Six Degrees of OC" in the subject line.

The O.C.
Thanksgiving at the Cohens is now the greatest holiday ever. Kirstin sucks back a gallon of vino, Julie sucks up to Kir's pops and Seth sucks face with both Summer and Anna. And speaking of thanks, yippee for Sandy, setting his floozy coworker up with Jimmy. Get her out of here, for God's sake. I got women in the office all up in my grill about this Rachel getting so flirty with the brow-master. Just a warning, though: If you thought this one was wild, strap in for next week. For real, for real.

From Kristin at E! Online

From heather: Who does Seth choose: Summer or Anna? Please tell me it's Anna.
-I saw Adam Brody last night at the Teen People party (where Sean Paul performed--more on that in this Friday's column). He mentioned there's trouble in paradise for Marissa and Ryan in the form of a third party. Two words. Phew. Eee.

From elmellon: I didn't see you on The O.C. last week. Did they cut you out?
-My finest moments on the cutting-room floor. [Sigh.] Anyway, I have scoop that Julie goes gay Paree with straight Caleb. Also, new character: Taylor Handley, who played that annoying little kid with a crush on Joey on the last few episodes of Dawson's, is all growed up and playing a richie-rich senior whose parents own a hotel chain. Oooh! Here's hoping he gets caught in a bathroom with Mark McGrath--and then has a sex-tape scandal.

From boulware0224: More O.C.?
-Brody says there's a third party that comes between Marissa and Ryan. One of the girls says Seth does make a choice and that evil Mrs. Cooper heads off to Paris with Grandpa Caleb.

I am starting a little quizzy on the OC using the beloved "Six Degrees of Separation" theory. Calculate the smallest amount of degrees for the pair listed each week.

This week: Peter Gallagher to Tate Donovan.

There is a gazillion ways to connect them, but so far I found the lowest number of degrees to be two. Prove me wrong or even prove me a different way. Email me your answers at psychoitaliano@hotmail.com with "Six Degrees of OC" in the subject line and I'll let you know if you are correct or not. No using other OC actors help make connections.

The answer will be posted on Friday.

From the Futon Critic:

THE O.C. (FOX) - Taylor Handley ("Dawson's Creek") and Amanda Righetti ("No Place Like Home") have both signed on for recurring roles on the FOX soap. Handley, who's signed on for six episodes, will play a well-traveled senior at Harbor High School whose parents own a hotel chain while Righetti, who recently signed a talent deal with the network, will play the wild younger sister of Kelly Rowan's character. It's not clear when both characters will make their first appearances.

My guess--Taylor Handley will be Oliver and Amanda Righetti should be appearing shortly, the episode revolving around a New Years party. If you read the spoilers, you know what I mean.

Tidbits from E! by Kristin:

- An announcement: Adam Brody hates me. Okay, not really, but sadly, the O.C. star is unable to make our chat this Monday. Instead, we're going to have...drumroll, please...Everwood's hot tamale Bright. Yes, Chris Pratt will tackle all your burning Q's.

-Re: Will They/Won't They Hook-up:
Seth & Summer of The O.C.
Where They Are: Summer finally realized what most of us have known since we laid eyes on him: Seth is hotter than fire.

For those still wondering why said fireman would be so gaga over snotty Summer, a fun tidbit: "I had the exact same question in the beginning," says Brody. "And [creator] Josh Schwartz did the coolest thing. I told him one day, I think Seth saw her feeding a squirrel or some s--t a long time ago, and felt he saw her soul in that moment. And then Josh wrote it in the script."

Where They're Headed: Rumor has it that Anna (Samaire Armstrong) and Summer will both be pining after Seth for a few episodes, and it's he who decides they should all "just be friends"--because he's secretly in love with a certain E! Online TV columnist. Okay, maybe not that last part.

-On Everwood, "Amy meets a boy with a shady past and takes a liking to him but only after the whole depression/meds story comes to a head." That "boy" is played by Paul Wasilweski, who has already been a troublemaker all over the tube: as Ryan's shady coworker on The O.C., JJ's bad boy teammate on American Dreams and Lex's "brother" on Smallville. He'll be in at least three episodes of Everwood.

-From Chat Transcripts:
+From midnightmutation: I have to practice for the Adam Brody chat next week. Which one sounds best: "Will you marry me?" or "Marry me" or, perhaps, "Want to get some tacos?"
=I'm currently practicing "Please, oh please, oh please, oh pleeease, let him make it!" He's not 100 percent confirmed, sadly. But please, be patient--we'll get him in here at one point or another. Tube maven's honor.
+From leopard185: Loving The O.C. When does my second favorite (next to Adam Brody, of course), Rachel Bilson, get her spot in the opening credits?
=She should, no? But not until after Mr. Cohen catches her in Seth's bathroom. Hmmm...
+From shantillygirl: More on The O.C.
=Marissa saves Ryan from getting beaten up, when she plows her Range Rover right up to Trey--who's a bit, er, cranky that Ryan doesn't have what he wants. And Julie gets steamier with senior Caleb.
